Mas de Chabran

Le Mas de Chabran is situated in the heart of the Alpilles. The village is called Maussane-les-Alpilles, a 18th century Provençal Mas set in huge French gardens. A mix of authenticity and modernity. The pool surrounded and hugged by centenary olive trees, a vegetable garden to pick up all pleasures of the generous nature that surrounds the property. An idyllic setting to rest and recharge. At the origin this Mas was an oil mill build in 1738 by Pierre Chabran de la ville de Saint-Remy on a field of more than 300 olive tress at the foot of the Massif des Alpilles, with a master building and two horse rides to operate de presses. Over the generations, this place has become a luxury residence with gardens built around large plane tress, basins and fountains, reception rooms and 8 large bedrooms that can comfortably accommodate up to 15 people in an exceptional setting. The French ‚Art de Vivre‘. Beyond the enchanting setting of a tastefully decorated villa, the sweetness of living in Provence is appreciated in respect of a certain way of life. To love nature, to respect it, to be interested in a region and its history, to take the time to discover the richness of theProvençal soil and local products. I am sharing with you my ‚Through my Eyes‘ series photographed at the Mas de Chabran.
