The eyes are the mirror of the soul and reflect everything that seems to be hidden, like a mirror, as they also reflect the person looking into them. – by Paulo Coehlo.
Together with La Prairie I have created a triptych series which you might saw in my Instagram Gallery. That creation was made for the launch of their new white caviar eye extraordinaire eye cream. The illuminating eye cream helps to restore the feeling of firmness and smooths out shadows and contrasts in the extended eye area. My personal small act of luxury and an essential part of my home spa in Paris.
Worth to mention; following years of research that included screening 50,000 active ingredients to find the single most powerful brightening ingredient, the molecule Lumidose was identified by the scientists at La Prairie as the most effective in supporting the inhibition of melanin production.
The curve and bone structure of the eyes, shadows that are being created to leave the skin looking darker. The skin is made up of two light reflecting surfaces: the surface of the skin itself, but also the network of collagen fibers in the dermis. By smoothing the surface and densifying the network of collagen fibers the reflection of light from our skin will be increased, thats when the rich formula of La Prairie’s white caviar eye extraordinaire eye cream comes to work. The formula left my under eyes moisturized and bright and the ceramic pearl applicator that comes with the product not only massages the cream deeper into skin, but it also helps with lymphatic drainage and increases circulation which means to de-puff and awaken your eye area.
