A long bob or lob has been dubbed the hairstyle of the year. Much deserved recognition because the styles manages to be flattering for a variety of different face shapes, hair textures and complexions. I’ve went for a ‚easy wear bob‘ cut and styled in cooperation with Marlies Möller and Great Lengths. The cut is sweet and simple and has developed into a true classic and permanent feature in the hairstyle landscape. So, its on the current trend charts, because the long bob does not have to choose between a long mane and short cut. It is suitable for any hair. Long enough for great updo. It can be glam (sleek) and causal (wavy) at the same time.
It’s the A-list hairstyle du jour. Did you know that it was a haircut that shocked society when it was first created by Polish-born hairdresser Antoine de Paris in France in 1909… and it’s been in fashion ever since. I was always into long hair, but somehow I really liked the idea to show my natural curls and to go for a sleek look depending on my mood. My hair stylist Jana who is seriously the sweetest person at Marlies Möller’s Salon in Hamburg at Neuer Wall chopped my hair. The result a cooly layered chin-grazing summer crop that works with my natural texture.
