Here’s to a little Photo Diary of the recent Paris Fashion Week. Julia and I had started the intense days with a relaxing facial provided by beautician Melanie Grant and our favorite skin care brand Augustinus Bader. Those who follow us regularly on our socials know how satisfied we are with the Augustinus Bader creams. I personally use ‘The Rich Cream’ and for me personally or my personal needs its irreplaceable. I will keep the caption for each photo or collage short. Nevertheless it was a calm beginning and great way to get our skin ready and clean for a stressful week and I wish I had a place to go to in Paris that offers the excellent facials that Melanie Grant does in combination with one of my very favorite – Augustinus Bader.

Another highlight was to discover the new Métier of Hermès in the most intimate way.  High above the grand boutique window of number 24 rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré, where Charles-Émile Hermès relocated this father’s harness workshop in 1880 and first began to retail saddlery, there is an exquisite little known paradise that overlooks the rooftops of Paris. Hermès beauty launched 24 lipsticks entitled ‘Rouge Hermès’ that all have a distinct color story pulled from brand’s collection of over 76.000 silk and leather shades. Ten of the lipsticks come in a matte finish, while the remaining  14 have a stain finish similar to Hermès signature Kelly calf leather box bag.

The noise of Paris below can no longer be heard, replaced by a family of songbirds that take up residence in the garden’s apple tree during the summer months. It was such a calm retreat to spend some quiet time, those who follow us know how much we love nature and especially some ‘quiet time’.

To be continued …
