It is my second time at the prettiest Hotel in Copenhagen. The Hotel d’Angleterre is a part of Leading Hotels of the Word and a landmark dating to 1755. The Hotel as elegant and sophisticated as the streets of Copenhagen. Most of the 90 guest rooms are minimal but warm. The storied Nyhavn Canal is just in front of the Hotel, the city’s best shopping just behind it. The Michelin starred restaurant Marchal at the d’Angleterre serves the creamiest, most decadent lobster bisque you can imagine, and the restaurant is packed with well-dressed Danes as it is with guests. Rich materials set a stylish, yet relaxed interior. The Marchal received a Michelin-Star in March 2014. Creativity, quality and aesthetics are essential elements in his cuisine, inspired by nordic and french Cuisine. Copenhagen Fashion Week was the main reason to travel the way to Denmark. I have included my impressions from the shows that I have visited during CPHFW. From Baum & Pferdgarten, Ganni, Mark Kenly Domino Tan and Marlene Birger. And when in Copenhagen – visit the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. You would need to take some time with you, we have spent at least three hours running through the Museum and they offer also some great variety of cakes and delish coffee and tea. Sharing below a few of my favorite art pieces form the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.
