Hermès moved places after 30 years in Munich and reopened it’s boutique in the Maximilianstraße 8. The press preview was held on the 16/03/17 with presence of Hermès CEO Axel Dumas and followed by the opening in a spectacular scenery at Haus der Kunst. The new Hermès boutique is just 200 meters from the former boutique. For Hermès every change is a big step, as CEO Axel Dumas pointed out with a wink to the press audience. The french fashion house Hermès manages to maintain the value and desire constantly, without rattling loudly with the claws. The new boutique counts up to 640 square meters and reflects the quiet luxury aspect as the brand is known for. Three floors are connected by an impressive staircase, the heart of the boutique, where you will find ready-to-wear for women and men, the famous Hermès Carrés, handbags such as a large living department, riding accessories and fine porcelain.
Memories from the spectacular boutique opening party at Haus der Kunst in Munich. Hermès invited 600 guests to a feast of weightlessness and lightness – inspired by the Star Jantar Mantar in Delhi, India. Artists, musicians, dancers – under the motto ‚Together with weightlessness‘ there was a lot to admire. Work of arts by artists from Switzerland and Spain, dancers, air artists, and last but not least a techno-brass band. Everything that happened that evening should fulfill the desire to expand horizons and cross boundaries – with pioneering success. It was a opening party to remember. Here are a few shots from that night which I would like to share with you besides the boutique images.
