December 6th 2017

Sharing here memories from December 6th 2017 when Karl Lagerfeld brought his Métiers d’Art to his hometown Hamburg. It felt surreal to be a part of it and here’s my visual diary. A day with CHANEL in Hamburg – it started with the fitting in the morning for the show in our CHANEL Boutique located at Neuer Wall and ended with a Make-up Session at the CHANEL Beauté Boutique which is located in the Mönckebergstraße. I’ve headed directly over to the Show Venue.

I’ve picked a beautiful CHANEL jumpsuit for the occasion – a look that I felt most comfortable with. The Paris – Hamburg show was presented at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg and celebrated the exceptional craft of the embroiderers, milliners, feathermakers and bootmakers. I still have goosebumps thinking of the idyllic interaction of the concert hall in the Elbphilharmonie, the atmosphere during those days, the Métiers d’Art collection, Karl Lagerfeld, the music, the after show dinner and the party, most of all I am glad that I could experience this night among friends and people I love to work with – all in all the perfect ending of 2017. A moving night in my beautiful Hamburg which I will never forget.
