That was probably one of my favorite weeks in August so far. We had a trip to Munich and the breathtaking Tegernsee - definitely a must-see destination that I am recommending especially to photography enthusiasts in case you are planning an bavarian trip. I just missed out the China Moon roof terrace at the Mandarin Oriental which totally got out of my mind, but instead we've visited Schumann's Tagesbar for an espresso and the 'Bayerischer Hof' roof twice for drinks and some refreshing juices with a incredible view and sunset over Munich. One fact you don't know about me, I got the biggest obsession for markets, if you haven't been already you should definitely check out the 'Viktualienmarkt' if you love flower, tea, fruit and vegetable shopping or even to gather impressions then that's the place to be. Actually I am loving dragon fruits / pitahayas they make my heart smile and make me forget anything for a while. You might call me a bit childish but I get inspired by many so often simple things, clouds, characteristics, various arrangements of vegetables in supermarkets or even for example exotic fruits. I was browsing through Pinterest and Instagram looking for some inspirational places to put them high high on my 'to-do-list' and found colorful heaven on this place on earth. Unique Mykonos, Santorini and Marrakech - yes, they made it into my travel list. It's architecture and culture prepares the wanderlust in me. I want to get lost in an overload of colors and these could be the right places. Have anyone one of you ever been there? Back to the topic - you won't believe it but we had a bike tour around the Tegernsee lake (circa 22km). I was caught for a moment, got inspired and overhelmed while cycling alongside around such a historical landmark, surrounded with bavarian alps. Certainly, one of the most beautiful german scene I've witnessed. In three words; charming, inspiring and magical. One of the best memories I have to cherish. Below a documentary of my personal captured moments. Enjoy. And big thanks to my beloved ones for making it so beautiful.
Hi Leonie and Richard.
I can't get enough of Starbuck's 'Summer On' Cool Lime Ice Tea - refreshing caffeine-containing drink, perfect for hot summer days. Not perfect, that's what I call perfectionism. Worth a try.
