Iris von Arnim: Knit loving

I would like to introduce you the a very traditional german fashion brand. Iris von Arnim, she is the head designer and the heart of the company as I took it out of the truly passionate and with a lot of love to the detail "Iris von Arnim, Moments of a Brand" booklet. October 2012, it was my first Pressday visit at the IvA Showroom in Hamburg, followed by a truly lovely breakfast where I got to know a bit of the brand history. You might remember the Spring/Summer 2013 IvA post. The Iris von Arnim palm sweater - it was love at first sight. This one can become every woman´s  style essential - The creamy color which is of one of my favorite shades, especially when it comes to knit wear, of course the palm and the relaxed fit is what I like the most about it. The combination can easily make the styling look so much more classy. In this case its all about the perfect mix of luxury materials, classic design and feminism which is kind of clear in the Iris von Arnim creations. Also got a crush on the 5th Avenue sweater and dress, when I saw the two pieces I realized immediately that Juliane and I have to wear it together on this blog post. The cardigan in a delicate mint ton was incredibly warm, that was my rescue, because that day when we shot outside was so cold. I don´t even remember how I have endured the iciness. So, if you are looking for a really warm knit piece than that one is the perfect choice I promise. The feeling of the high quality cashmere is speechless, beautiful and cozy pieces of arts, simply peerless, not so affordable but definitely worth the investment.
