DfT hosted by Marc Jacobs - Leandro Cano AW 2013

Leandro Cano - he is the last years winner of the Designer for Tomorrow award which was hosted by Marc Jacobs. Cano was showing his first own new autumn/winter 2013 collection at the Fashion Week in Berlin yesterday. The dress in the first picture impressed me, on the one hand it looks delicate and untouchable and on the other hand its seems to be really heavy, I am not sure if the applications on it are made of ceramic but i guess he invested a lot of work into it. Bravo! It was the most unbeatable and succinct piece of the show but also that burgundy knit ball was very creative and innovative in my opinion. He used and combined leather, faux fur, transparent plastic elements and knit - the catwalk was filled with cremé tones, beautiful burgundy and outstandig floral patterns. The only thing I didn´t liked that much was the very mystical almost depressive music. All in all a great presentation and successful show - Congrats Leandro Cano! And now all my pictures from the fashion show ...
